This site exists to bring everything cannabis-related in Wythe County into one place — education, events, local businesses, consulting, and community resources.
As cannabis continues to evolve in Virginia, the goal here is simple: clear information, responsible guidance, and a central point of connection for growers, users, businesses, parents, and anyone wanting to understand what’s happening locally.
It’s meant to be practical, approachable, and grounded in real experience — not hype, stigma, or misinformation.
I’ve been growing, breeding, and working with cannabis for over 20 years.
I’ve spent time inside the industry, including working at a high-end dispensary under one of the most respected growers in the country. I’ve mentored growers through every stage of the process — from setup and plant health to trimming, diagnostics, and genetics.
I’m the breeder behind local popular strains New Blueberry and Wythe Russian, and my experience spans both traditional and modern cultivation methods. Everything I share here is grounded in real-world practice and study.
I built Wythe Cannabis as an extension of the local cannabis community I started on social media — a space that grew into hundreds of people coming together to ask questions, learn the laws, share knowledge, and support one another.
This site is a continuation of that work: a central resource for education, guidance, and connection as cannabis becomes a more visible part of life in Wythe County.
Cannabis is already part of life in Wythe County — whether people talk about it openly or not. The land, the people, the location, and the culture here create a real opportunity to lead Virginia in cannabis education, cultivation, and community in a way that’s responsible, informed, and uniquely our own.
The movement to make Wythe County the cannabis capital of Virginia is about reclaiming agency over something that already exists here — and shaping it into a positive force for the region. One that supports people, strengthens the local economy, and reflects our values instead of outdated stigma.
This is about choosing to lead thoughtfully, rather than reacting later.
Join our email list for thoughtful updates on cannabis culture, policy, growing, and what’s actually happening behind the scenes — plus new episodes, events, and conversations worth paying attention to.
Have a cannabis story to tell? Big or small, personal or passed down — we’re collecting local stories to help document and share the real cannabis history of our region through future media projects.
